I was recently asked to create a illustration for an upcoming TTRPG one shot, I was asked to create a piece showing a moon elf godess. We went back and fourth through the process and I was very happy with the overall outcome.

One of the main requierements was to have the moon in view and the elf needed a crown. I wanted to tie the image together through several different themes. One was the use of blue to create that cold night time feel. The other was the use of the crescent and the moon. both in the sky and the enviroment and both in her disign like her crown and the shaping of her hair.

For a front facing image I wanted to add a little movement and I found the best way was to use the hair and add in some partical effects. giving a sense of life to the image over a more stationary one.

The project is a small part of a larger set of images I have worked on with this one being the cover image to one of the issues.
